Brief: Create a typographically-led campaign that is a call to action or raises awareness of your subject.

Solution: There are signs of domestic violence that aren’t always visible to the women who are being abused.

POSTERS

Outdoor posters use photochromic ink to reveal a hidden message as light hits them. A message that seems to be talking about healthy relationships changes to reveal a hidden sign of domestic abuse.

MOBILE APP

The Unseen App is a place for women who may be unsure if their relationship is abusive. A simple set of questions lets them know if they should be concerned about the way their partner treats them and informs them of resources they can use to get support. Women share first hand stories that can help the women reading them feel supported in their journey.

NON-TRADITIONAL: EXPERIENTIAL

Dressing room doors have been removed from the men’s fitting rooms in a clothing store. Men do not realize the complete lack of privacy women face in abusive relationships, so in order for them to gain an understanding we stripped them of the privacy they usually have when changing clothes in public. As they leave the dressing room, a poster will be displayed for the men to read.
